NOTE TO CUSTOMERS:
-
When we ask for your measurements, the buyer must ALWAYS take them while wearing a GAMBESON (or other sorts of padding the buyer intends to wear underneath the mail).
-
The buyer should also be informed that it is our custom to add 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7 cm) to the buyer’s given measurements. This is to make sure that your mail will not be too tight so that your movements are not restricted by the mail and you’re able to move freely. To achieve this result it is always better to have a mail that is slightly loose than one that is slightly tight.
-
Our quotation will also be based on the final measurements given by the buyer.
-
When a mail is finished we will inform the buyer about the meaurements, if there is anything missing or incorrect the buyer should at once inform us about it so we can make changes before shipment.
-
After that the buyer has confirmed to us that the final measurements are correct, additional reworks will come at a cost.
-
The buyer is entitled to a refund only if there’s proof that mistakes were made on our part (for example if the buyer has sent us the right measurements but somehow our artisan used different ones), the buyer will not be entitled to a refund if he or she sends us measurements taken in the wrong way.
We always provide videos and photos to instruct the buyer on how to take measurements the right way, so it is rarely a problem, but it might happen so we need to clarify it here beforehand.
